I am originally from Colombia, where I did both my undegraduate and master’s, moved to Atlanta (US) for my PhD, and currently reside in beautiful Scotland.

My research work covers theoretical and applied econometrics, with a focus on Bayesian methods, and attempts to present rigorous solutions to problems that arise in applied economic settings. Currently, I am particularly interested in the challenges inherent to networks and spatial data. I am also passionate about teaching and have taught several courses across the world in Econometrics and Bayesian methods at an undergraduate and graduate level.
